Upcoming HLS working group meetings:
Purpose and Ambition
The purpose of the group is to help advance the Thames Valley’s global reputation as a business location of choice, for life sciences companies.
Our ambition is to champion the Thames Valley’s life sciences strength and articulate the capacity of the region to provide the solutions and effectively deliver government growth targets outlined in the Industrial Strategy and 10-year Health Plan for England.
We work to inform life sciences policy that informs a more effective legislative regulatory framework that delivers commercial benefit and helps shape the plans that can secure the thriving, green, healthier future we want for a truly competitive Thames Valley.
Shaping the Life Sciences agenda of the Thames Valley
We are shaping the future of life sciences in the region. Our triple helix framework is focused on helping ensure the Thames Valley is central to the government’s vision to drive growth, innovation, and better health outcomes. Our work is based on four interconnected pillars:
Manifesto for investment, health and growth in the Thames Valley
In partnership with James Cowper Kreston and Green Park, our Manifesto for Investment, Health and Growth, is an initiative designed to advance the Thames Valley region to ensure its global reputation as a world leader in the field of Health and Life Sciences (HLS).
