The Great Big Swindon Quiz, hosted by Cllr Rex Barnett, Mayor of Swindon, will be the first and largest quiz ever held for businesses, organisations and clubs across the region. The quiz master will be Peter Jones who runs the HR Dept consultancy. The aim of the event is to raise money for the Mayor’s Charities 2010/2011; Prospect Hospice, CALM and Willows Counselling Service. There will be an opportunity for networking, great goody bags for all, a luxury raffle and a voucher for the exhibition beer Chuffing Ale.
The night includes a quiz set by top quiz masters Barrie Smith and Peter Jones, a buffet meal and a glass of wine or beer. Everyone has the freedom of exploring the STEAM Museum with no extra charge and a bar will be available throughout the night. There will be 100 questions to test your IQ. The winning team will receive a prize. Gavin Jones, Chief Executive, Swindon Borough Council will open the proceedings with Lynne Sheehy, CSR Manager, Legal & General.
Exhibition space for stands and tables are available for businesses for a donation of only £5.
