The session will blend strategic advice, risk awareness, and clear guidance on best practice processes aligned with the Employment Rights Act and wider UK employment law.

Paul Ryan – MD, RD Financial Recruitment
Paul Ryan ACMA/CGMA is the Founder and Managing Director of RD Financial Recruitment, with 24 years’ experience in finance recruitment and earlier experience in accountancy. He has held a range of senior finance roles, developing expertise across financial analysis, systems, and strategic management, as well as leading the recruitment, training, and development of finance teams. Recognising a gap in the market for specialist, insight-driven recruitment, he established RD Financial Recruitment in Windsor to better support growing and well-established organisations. Paul is known for his practical, hands-on approach and his ability to build long-term partnerships by truly understanding the needs of both clients and candidates.

Katie Glendinning – Employment Partner, Clarkslegal LLP
Katie is a partner in the employment team at Clarkslegal LLP’s Reading office, with extensive experience advising on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. She regularly supports clients ranging from individuals, start-ups, and SMEs to large multinational organisations, handling complex issues such as TUPE, whistleblowing, and discrimination. Katie also works with clients to deliver bespoke training packages, ensuring they remain legally compliant. Recognised by Legal 500 and Chambers, Katie is known for her strategic approach and commitment to client partnerships.
