What is the GIF?

A virtual gateway to the Japanese market, the GIF links global start-ups and innovators to Osaka businesses. Showcasing Osaka as an innovation hub, the GIF enables innovative businesses, technologies and ideas to gather from all over the world.

Hosted by the Osaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (OCCI) and Osaka Business & Investment Centre (O-BIC) since 2019, the GIF is a platform where foreign start-ups and Osaka local companies can meet up and connect each other, through a series of events.

Chosen Start ups will be announced – Successful applicants will be notified by 24th May 2024

Virtually network with Osaka companies – Take the opportunity to virtually network with a wide range of companies looking to collaborate.

Online live pitch – With interpretation support available, the date for the on-line live pitch is 10th July 2024
