Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce recognises business excellence at awards evening

The Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce (TVCC) will be holding their annual Business Awards for 2022 with Imperial College Business School as the event’s headline sponsor.

TVCC, the only accredited Chamber in the region and the fifth largest in the UK, will be recognising the talents, innovation and entrepreneurship of companies from across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Swindon once again.

The Awards will be held at The Reading Hilton Hotel, Drake Way, Reading, RG2 0GQ on Thursday June 23rd.  Doors open at 6pm and the black-tie gala dinner looks set to be an exciting night, with many keen to win a much-coveted award recognising their contribution in the industry.

With 10 major categories, members and non-members alike from across the Thames Valley, will have a chance of entering the prestigious Chamber led Awards.

David Brown, Director of Executive Education at Imperial College Business School said: “We are delighted to be sponsoring TVCC’s annual flagship event, showcasing outstanding businesses in the Thames Valley area. Executive Education at Imperial College Business School combines Imperial’s capabilities in science and technology with deep connections to industry to bring our clients the future of business, today.

Our strengths in science, technology, engineering, medicine and business enable us to work closely with many leading organisations in the region.  We are excited to become the business school of choice for the area.”

Sarah Irving, Head of Marketing and Communications at the Chamber commented: “We are all absolutely delighted to be back with our Business Awards and it’s wonderful to have Imperial College Business School as our headline sponsor.

With the last Awards held in 2019, it’s been a long two years without them, so we are excited to be back. So excited in fact, that we launched them twice, with launch events held at Ascot Racecourse on March 9th and The LED Studio in Swindon on March 11th.

We have always been a strong advocate and champion of local businesses and our Awards celebrate business excellence throughout this innovative region. We are really pleased with the interest already shown in the Awards with many major companies having already signed up as sponsors”.

Major sponsors have backed the awards alongside headline sponsors, Imperial College Business School such as AirIT, DRP Group, Heathrow, Lucy Electric, EIZO, Windsor Telecom, Owen White Solicitors, James Cowper Kreston and GEMS.
