Online cyber training specialist Psybersafe is delighted to have become a member of the Cyber Resilience Centre for the South East (SECRC) which was set up to protect small businesses, SMEs, supply chain businesses and third sector organisations in the region against cyber crime.
Mark Brown, Founder of Psybersafe says: “We’re very pleased to be working with the Cyber Resilience Centre for the South East. Our goals align perfectly with those of SECRC. We want to help keep companies and individuals and their data, safe online with an effective and affordable training programme and believe that all businesses and their staff need quality, constant cyber security training.
Our programme, developed with global financial institutions, is agile, hard-hitting, effective, and an excellent resource for practical, behaviour-driven interactive episodes with tips and tricks on how people can protect themselves and their organisations. We look forward to working with SECRC to help organisations across the South East become more cyber resilient.”
Andy Richardson, Detective Superintendent and Director of the Cyber Resilience Centre for the South East commented: “I’m delighted to welcome Mark and his team at Psybersafe to the SECRC, our missions are aligned to help businesses across the region to become more cyber secure.
“We know that one key and simple way that businesses can better protect themselves is through training their employees who are their first line of defence. The latest Cyber Security Breaches survey identified that 83% of cyber-attacks in the last 12 months were related to successful phishing attempts, demonstrating that there is still more to be done to educate businesses on better cyber hygiene practices.
“It is my hope that through this collaboration, we can make a contribution to reducing this figure for those businesses based in the South East.”
