HR Forum – ‘Equality, Diversity & Inclusion’

Our HR Forum gives businesses a chance to hear the latest HR trends, to share knowledge, learn from first-hand experience and exchange opinions with other like-minded professionals from across all sectors. This event is suitable for professionals that have a responsibility in HR strategy, policy, management and input into recruitment, retention, and talent management.

This session will cover topics in Equality, Diversity & Inclusion and we will be joined by speakers Dr. Steve Smith to share their ‘Broadening Horizons scheme’ in supporting minoritised racial and ethnic backgrounds to pursue careers in chemistry.

Kelly Grainger will talk about neurodiversity in the workplace – What is Neurodiversity? – My journey, 23yrs in the corporate world, my autism & ADHD diagnosis and experience of disclosing to my employer and why it makes business sense for organisations to understand and accept neurodiversity at work.

The second part of the session will continue with an open round-table discussion and give everyone present an opportunity to share their own experiences, ideas and discuss HR challenges & solutions on these topics and start to shape the topics for the following session.
