HR Forum: Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in a changing world

Our HR Forum, sponsored by BP Collins, brings together senior HR practitioners from our larger members to hear the latest HR trends, share knowledge, learn from first-hand experience, and exchange opinions with other like-minded professionals from across all sectors.

We embrace the evolving scope of EDI awareness and policy, which continues to broaden to encompass differing characteristics such as gender, ethnicity, age, belief, disability, neurodiversity, sexual orientation, identity and socio-economic status. Chris Bailey of DWP will present on the Disability Confident scheme and during this forum we will seek to share best practice, consider whether our own HR policies are sufficiently broad, and discuss how we put “policy” into “practice” embedding inclusivity into thoughts/understanding, words/language and actions/culture; to the benefit of all.

We look forward to welcome the following speakers:

Chair:  Claire Madle – Learning and Development Manager, HR Wallingford

Greg Clark – Senior Associate, BP Collins

Chris Bailey – Oxfordshire Disability Employment Adviser Lead, Department for Work and Pensions

Our session will conclude with an open discussion around EDI in HR with the opportunity to ask questions, share best practice and discuss challenges and opportunities.

Bookings

The HR Forum is open to HR practitioners at our Inspire, Lead and Business Alliance members. Unfortunately, it is not open to HR service providers (recruiters/HR consultants/employment lawyers) at this time. To book onto this event, please contact Natasha Staines, Membership Account Manager.
