HR Forum: Adapting Your Employment & Workplace Practices

Our HR Forum, sponsored by BP Collins, brings together senior HR practitioners from our larger members to hear the latest HR trends, share knowledge, learn from first-hand experience, and exchange opinions with other like-minded professionals from across all sectors.

There are soon to be five generations in the workforce, each with their own communication styles, workplace expectations, and working styles. Effectively managing multiple generations will require employers to foster inclusivity, promote open communication, and leverage the strengths of each generation.

The new UK Employment Rights Bill (expect to be published in mid-October) is also anticipated to add complexity to employment practices. In this HR Forum, we will tackle both these issues.

Kindly hosted by BP Collins, we have a great speakers line up, including:

Marcus Johnson (Managing Director) and Hannah Weedan (Business Director) – Signet Recruitment and Retention. Marcus and Hannah will look at Gen Z in the workplace and how companies can rethink traditional HR approaches to engage this population.

Jeff Kong – Solicitor, BP Collins. Jeff will give a summary of the Employment Rights Bill and what employers should expect from the proposals.

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and share best practice after each speaker. The open forum at the end will give the opportunity to discuss any other pressing HR matters and future HR Forum topics.
