MCP Technical Training is excited to announce the opening of a brand-new, expanded training facility in Reading. After outgrowing their original space at Lambs Farm, the company has moved to a larger, state-of-the-art venue that can accommodate the increasing demand for their high-quality training services.
Since its inception in 2005, MCP has been a trusted provider of technical and management training. With the new location, the company is poised to enhance its offering and further strengthen its reputation for delivering world-class training experiences.
John Saysell, Head of MCP Technical Training, explains, “Our customers’ needs were outgrowing our original space. We needed a larger, more versatile environment to continue providing top-tier training. This move was a strategic decision to create the capacity to serve our clients better, while maintaining the quality they expect.”
With the new facility, MCP is expanding its course offerings to meet the evolving needs of the industry. New additions include:
- MCP Maintenance Management Training Courses
- Technical Operator Training
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- 2391 Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations
- Pneumatics
- Portable Appliance Testing
- Safe Isolation Workshops
These courses will allow MCP to offer more flexibility and meet the diverse needs of their clients.
The new Reading facility has been designed with the client experience at the forefront. Key benefits include a modern, fully-equipped learning environment, a wider selection of industry-relevant courses and continued access to expert instructors delivering the same trusted MCP training
According to Saysell, trainers are enthusiastic about the move, noting that the upgraded space and equipment allow for more interactive, hands-on sessions—critical for effective learning. Feedback from delegates has also been overwhelmingly positive. “They love the engaging and professional environment,” Saysell adds.
In addition to technical training, MCP is now offering Management Training at their Reading location. These programmes cater to both emerging talent and seasoned professionals, focusing on developing leadership skills within technical teams and aligning organisational goals.
