Chamber seeks business views on sustainability issues
The Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce’s Sustainability Working Group (SWG) is conducting a State of the Region survey.
The survey results will be a part of a wider State of the Region report, which will help establish the Thames Valley business community’s current position in relation to achieving net zero emissions and sustainability goals by 2050, highlight areas where the business community performs well, as well as identify the challenges we face on our pathway to net zero. The report is being developed alongside academic partners and SWG members.
Achieving the net zero target by 2050 will require an unprecedented transformation of business operations, supply lines and infrastructure, and as such, this report will also serve as a ‘call to action’ to drive cross-industry collaboration in order to further drive progress, as well as address and overcome the identified challenges, by sharing in-region good practice and disseminating information.
It gives businesses the opportunity to shape important research concerning the Thames Valley’s net zero future.
