The Hospitality & Visitor Economy Workforce Development Partnership (WDP) now sits within the region’s wider Critical Services Cluster, which also brings together the Care, Haulage & Logistics, and Professional Services sectors. While these industries share some common workforce pressures, this meeting will focus specifically on the needs and priorities of Hospitality and the Visitor Economy.

This session offers a practical space for employers and training providers to come together, discuss current challenges, and explore where collaborative solutions could make a real difference. We’ll look at emerging skills needs, recruitment and retention issues, and opportunities to strengthen future workforce development across the sector.
