What will I learn?
Since coming to office, Donald Trump has placed a range of wide-reaching duties on nearly every country in the world. In addition to this the USA has also placed numerous additional duties on various specific products, both policies may have massive implications with our exports to the USA. In this course we explore how, as a UK exporter, we can establish what duties would be applicable to our USA customers, ensuring that the right origin is applied to our products.
Specifically, we cover:
- How to establish the origin of our exports
- Working out what duties may apply to our products
- The impact on USA importers
- Changes to De Minimis rules for low cost goods
- How the Incoterms can affect our costs
How will I learn?
This is an interactive session with plenty of opportunity to ask questions alongside practical activities in breaking down the process. This course will be delivered online.
