Woods Foodservice acquires Michelin-star supplier John Mower & Co

Woods Foodservice, a leading supplier to top-end restaurants and hotels, has acquired Michelin-star provider John Mower & Co.

The deal brings the two businesses together to create one of the UK’s largest restaurant suppliers, numbering more than 3,000 customers who share more than 90 Michelin stars.

John Mower & Co, based in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, has more than 80 years’ experience as a renowned supplier to restaurants, hotels, bars and delis and joining forces with Woods Foodservice will allow both businesses to provide the finest produce, exceptional service and highest levels of sustainability to their customers across the UK.

A family-owned business in Uxbridge, London, Woods Foodservice has supplied top-end hospitality providers and restaurateurs for over 40 years and in acquiring John Mower & Co, is now positioned as one of the UK’s leading premium hospitality providers.

A team of specialist corporate advisors at regional legal and professional services business, Knights, advised Woods Foodservice on their acquisition of John Mower & Co. Partner, Harriet Jones, led on the deal and was supported by Senior Associate Andrea Covolan, Solicitors Jian Chu and Matthew Szavay and Property Partner Jeff Elphee.
