Local charity Connect Reading are once again running The Giving Tree, supporting other local charities by organising this awesome Reading Christmas campaign.
Last year, despite the ongoing challenges of COVID-19, 2,075 gifts were given to people in need across Greater Reading. Over £8k worth of presents were collected at The Oracle, whilst local businesses also raised over £7k to give gifts to charities they were matched with. More than six thousand pounds was also raised online by members of the public.
This year it will be bigger than ever, with a funky Giving Tree Song being released at the start of December. So if you are SUPER excited about the magic of Christmas and been looking for a way to help someone in need, making their Christmas magical, why head not head into Reading Town Centre to get involved.
