The Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce (TVCC), the only accredited Chamber in the region and the fifth largest in the UK, is recognising and celebrating the spirit of businesses across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Swindon, with the launch of the TVCC Hero Awards.
Aiming to showcase the outstanding work that has been done by local business and their employees during the Covid-19 crisis in support of the community, the Chamber will be recognising them with a Thames Valley Hero Award. The Chamber are looking for those companies and individuals who are going above and beyond to help in the current crisis, from companies pivoting production to manufacture critical parts, helping local NHS, care services or lending a hand to support the more vulnerable in our community.
Winners will automatically enter the UK Business Heroes – Celebrating Businesses One Story at a Time, an initiative being run by the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) throughout October, for further recognition on a national scale.
Major headline sponsors have backed the awards including CSR Accreditation, Earthline Ltd, Generate UK and Care Cartons.
Entries close on Friday 28th August with the celebration live streaming on Thursday 17th September from 4pm – 5pm.
