Thames Valley Business Awards winners crowned

Leading global medical device design and manufactures Owen Mumford have been crowned the ultimate ‘Thames Valley Business of the Year’ at the 2022 Chamber Awards.

Recognising the talents, innovation and entrepreneurship of companies from across the region, the strong business community were out in force on Thursday 23rd June at the Reading Hilton Hotel to help celebrate the success of local companies. Showcasing why the Thames Valley is known as the UK’s true turbo economy representatives from companies large and small enjoyed a truly magnificent evening.

With 11 major categories winners on the night were:

  6. Export Business of the Year sponsored by Heathrow – E3D
  7. Workplace Health & Well-Being Award sponsored by EIZOJulia’s House
  8. Most Promising New Business sponsored by GEMSWhite Communications
  9. SME Business of the Year sponsored by James Cowper Kreston – Kerr Office Group
  10. Equality and Diversity Award sponsored by Owen White SolicitorsWestcoast
  11. Thames Valley Business of the Year sponsored by Imperial College Business School Executive Education – Owen Mumford

The evening was expertly guided by popular sport and entertainment host Chris Hollins who charmed the audience with his onstage presence, wit and humour.

The Silver Service Singers, fully entertained the 250-strong audience with their fun-filled antics, ensuring everyone was on their feet dancing, with many taking to social media to show their enthusiasm and delight.
