Thames Hospice announces Amazon as headline partner for Trunks across the Thames art trail

Thames Hospice is delighted to announce that Amazon has joined as a headline partner for its first ever art trail, standing proudly alongside Iron Mountain Data Centers and a host of valued local businesses.

This summer, an unforgettable herd of beautifully decorated elephant sculptures will take to the streets of Windsor and Slough as part of Trunks across the Thames, a Wild in Art event brought by Thames Hospice. This spectacular free public art trail, taking place between 13 July and 13 September 2026, is set to capture hearts, spark conversation, and raise vital funds and awareness for Thames Hospice.

As part of their partnership, Amazon will sponsor a beautifully designed elephant sculpture titled ‘Keeper of Memories’, designed by artist and illustrator Sam Morris. Positioned in Windsor Great Park alongside four other stunning elephants, it will form part of the wider herd of 30 sculptures across Windsor and Slough. With its fairy‑tale‑like design, ‘Keeper of Memories’ offers visitors a moment to pause, reflect and connect, a fitting symbol of Amazon’s commitment to supporting the local community through this inspiring public art trail.

Amazon’s partnership marks a significant moment for the trail, strengthening its reach and impact across the region. Their support will help ensure the event inspires thousands of residents and visitors while raising essential funds for patients and families facing life‑limiting illnesses.

Speaking about the partnership, Dr Rachael de Caux, Thames Hospice Chief Executive, said:“We are so excited to announce Amazon as a headline partner for Trunks across the Thames. Their support reflects a shared belief in the power of community, connection and compassion.

“Partnerships like this are vital in helping us reach more people, open up important conversations, and ensure that everyone who needs hospice care can access it, now and in the future.”

Carley Graham Garcia, Principal, Worldwide Community Engagement at Amazon, said: “Creativity has the power to bring people together, and that’s exactly what Trunks across the Thames will do. We’re thrilled to be a headline partner for this incredible public art installation. Thames Hospice does extraordinary work in this community, and we’re excited to help bring their mission to even more people this summer.”
