Following the successful launch of the Uncrewed Systems Network (USN), SDO Associates is inviting organisations to secure the remaining sponsorship packages, exhibitor stands and delegate places for the four upcoming workstream events taking place throughout the remainder of 2026.
Developed in response to evolving defence requirements, rapid advances in autonomous technologies and the increasing importance of uncrewed capability across land, air and maritime domains, the USN has been created to provide a coordinated, industry-led forum for collaboration, knowledge sharing and practical action. SDO Associates is proud to be working alongside Title Sponsor STARK to bring this initiative forward, helping to strengthen collaboration across the UK’s uncrewed systems ecosystem.
The initiative aligns with wider UK defence and innovation priorities and is founded on a simple mission: Inform, Engage, Collaborate and Deliver.
“The response to the Uncrewed Systems Network has been incredibly positive. With four workstreams still to come, there is a real opportunity for organisations to help shape future discussions, showcase their capabilities and build valuable relationships across the sector. Whether through sponsorship, exhibiting or attending as a delegate, we encourage businesses to get involved while places remain available.”” said Stu Olden, CEO and Founder of SDO Associates.
The USN delivers a programme of themed workstreams, each consisting of a launch event followed by collaborative workshops involving industry and government stakeholders. The findings from every workstream will contribute to a final white paper containing recommendations to support future policy, investment and capability development due to be released Q1 2027.
The remaining 2026 workstreams include:
Technology – 4 September 2026
Skills & People – 2 October 2026
Testing & Certification – 3 November 2026
Funding, Investment & Export – 3 December 2026
Businesses looking to raise their profile within the UK’s rapidly growing uncrewed systems sector can still take advantage of a limited number of sponsorship opportunities. Remaining packages are available for the Skills & People and Funding, Investment & Export workstreams, offering organisations the opportunity to support the initiative position themselves alongside senior decision-makers, technology developers, end users and investors.
Organisations wishing to showcase their capabilities can also secure exhibitor stands, while delegate registrations remain open for those looking to gain valuable industry insight, hear from expert speakers and build new connections across the uncrewed systems community.
All remaining USN workstream events are set to take place at the STEAM Museum in Swindon.
