“It’s been fascinating to see how different artists interpreted our theme ‘wellbeing in nature’,” commented Donna Bowles, Howbery Park Estates Manager, and competition judge. “With so many brilliant entries in the competition, the judging panel had a tricky decision picking the winners. We think the artists have done a fantastic job in conveying an sense of wellbeing in nature. I also personally enjoyed seeing Howbery feature in some of the pieces, including Siufoon’s, which shows off some of the park’s wonderful trees.”
The artworks are on display in two of the meeting rooms at Howbery Park, next to the Manor Café, from 8 to 10 October from 10am-4pm. All the postcards produced by the younger entrants are in the exhibition, along with shortlisted entries in the over 18s category and a few bonus artworks. Entry is free of charge.
