Saffery, the accounting and business advisory firm, is proud to celebrate its anniversary in High Wycombe, marking 39 years since the office first opened its doors in 1987.
The High Wycombe office was a pivotal moment that expanded the firm’s reach beyond London and Edinburgh and laid the foundations for its national presence. Since then, Saffery has continued to grow its footprint across the UK and Ireland, now operating across 10 offices.
The team, which now has 51 employees, has played a key role in this expansion, advising local, national and international businesses as well as individuals, with a full range of accounting services covering a variety of sectors including real estate, professional services, technology, hospitality and recruitment.
Reflecting on the milestone, Andrew Watkinson, Partner and Head of the High Wycombe office, said:
“Since 1987, we have grown in both size and scope, but our commitment to providing personal, high-quality advice has never changed. High Wycombe has always been central to Saffery’s story as it is where our national network began, and it remains an important hub for our clients and our people. We look forward to continuing to support businesses, individuals and the local community and to building on the strong foundations laid over the past 39 years.”
Saffery’s High Wycombe office continues to serve a diverse portfolio of clients, combining local knowledge with national expertise and remains committed to its founding values of independence, excellence and long-term client relationships.
Over the past 12 months, the Saffery team in High Wycombe has raised £1,350 for the Heart of Bucks which is a community foundation dedicated to helping local charities, community projects, and individuals in need across Buckinghamshire. Through grants, partnerships and fundraising, Heart of Bucks helps strengthen the local community and improve the quality of life of many of the county’s residents.
