Saffery Champness, a founding member of Nexia, one of the largest global networks of independent accounting and consulting firms, is proud to have celebrated Nexia Week 2023.
This year, the focus of Nexia Week was on the environment, and specifically on water, with each of the firm’s regional and international offices holding a range of water focused charitable events or raising funds for their chosen water-based charity.
The High Wycombe team held a ‘Funky Duck’ fair, which meant there was an impressive array of rubber ducks around the office. The team also participated in a variety of games including a ‘Duck Shy’, shooting ‘duck’ range, ‘Whack-a-quack’ and ‘Pin the Bill on the Duck’, which helped to raise an impressive £270 for the British Waterfowl Association, which is dedicated to the conservation of ducks, geese, and swans.
Luke Hanratty, Audit Director, said:
“We are pleased that we could raise funds for this important cause while also marking our membership of Nexia which is hugely important to Saffery Champness and helps to highlight our commitment to its core values of ‘enduring relationships,’ ‘business minded’ and ‘being there for clients. We had a lot of fun.”
