Oxford-based IT managed service provider Riverbank IT Management has become a member of the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce. As a Business Alliance member, they join an exclusive group of businesses that are leaders in their field.
As part of the Air IT group, Riverbank has been selected to become a Business Alliance member of the Chamber, its senior tier of membership. Business Alliance members are larger organisations, across a variety of sectors, championing the Thames Valley business community and working alongside the Chamber and other members to represent and develop it.
Riverbank will therefore play a much more hands-on role within the Chamber, using its expertise to guide the Chamber’s policy and lobbying activity as well as helping smaller businesses gain IT skills and knowledge that can help them grow.
Marc Juffkins, Managing Director at Riverbank, said: “We are delighted to have joined the Chamber as Business Alliance Members and can’t wait to forge new relationships with fellow businesses. This will enable us to spread the word to even more SMEs regarding best practices when it comes to IT strategy and the secure, efficient use of technology – something which has become even more crucial as businesses bounce back from the pandemic and develop new ways of working.”
Adrian McMahon, Business Alliance Account Manager at the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Riverbank IT Management, part of the Air IT Group of companies, into Business Alliance, our most senior tier of membership. The company has a proud heritage of delivering high-demand IT services and solutions and will bring its skills and expertise to Oxfordshire and beyond.”
From their headquarters just south of Oxford, Riverbank IT Management have provided IT support and security services to businesses throughout Oxfordshire and the Thames Valley since 1997. They aim to support SMEs with technology that helps them thrive, communicated in a way that’s easy to understand.
Having recently being acquired by Air IT, an award-winning MSP based in the East Midlands, Riverbank have now expanded both their reach and their offering. With the addition of services such as managed communications, connectivity, business intelligence and advanced cyber security, they can now offer a full mix of technology services under one roof.
John Whitty, CEO of Air IT, said: “Since becoming part of the Air IT group, our partnership with Riverbank has flourished and we are delighted to have taken this next step together. Joining the Thames Valley Chamber at their top tier of membership is a big milestone, which solidifies Air IT’s expansion into Oxford and the Thames Valley. We look forward to developing relationships with other members and contributing to TVCC’s admirable work across the region.”
