2020 will long be remembered as the year countless staff were confined to their houses; with both business owners and employees working from dining room tables and bedrooms across the country. Having to quickly adapt to this new way of working, there was an upsurge in home improvements, with many spending hours remodelling their homes and/or gardens to improve their working environment.

Without an end date in sight of when things would get back to normal garden rooms and garden offices started to grow in popularity. The search volume for “Garden Rooms” increased by 300% between March and June.

Already a popular name in the Garden Rooms space, Green Retreats wanted to showcase its offering for those looking to invest in a long-term, practical solution to work from home. 

In collaboration with the internal marketing team, Raw Pictures were invited to create a video that would promote garden rooms and the ongoing benefits of having a dedicated space. Sitting on the company website, the video would be part of a digital and social media campaign to drive traffic to the website.

An engaging and informative 2D animated video was created answering the question “What is a Garden Room?” In less than 3 months since its launch, it has had over 70,000 views on their popular YouTube channel and is the top result when searching for garden rooms.

As the experts in the garden rooms space, this increased visibility was a powerful tool to help drive sales, as well as build on the company’s stellar reputation.
