Political Working lunches (PWLs)

With sitting MPs and MEPs as speakers, these policy driven events regularly attract a wide cross-section of delegates. By attending the events, businesses gain an understanding of the structure and workings of Westminster and how the political landscape can help with issues that are affecting their business. A question and answer session forms part of the event, allowing for informal feedback.

These policy driven events were hosted by Microsoft for many years, at their headquarters in Reading but during 2020 the events took a webinar-style format. This provided a platform for local MPs to meet with business representatives for constituency-focused discussions under the overarching theme of “Restart, Rebuild & Renew”.

We continue this series of events into 2021 and look forward to hosting a number of MP’s. Our forward programme or PWLs for 2021 is as follows:

Name of MP/Peer Date Time Topic
Lord Ed Vaizey  03/12/2021 12:00-13:00 Technology and Artificial Intelligence
