Chamber Member wins Nationwide Networking Award
TVCC member and “Head Cheerleader” at Outside ideas, Peter Mols, has won the nationwide Networker of the year award at The Great British Business Awards.
The awards, which attracted over 1600 nominations from all over the country, was presented to a packed house at a black-tie award ceremony at Hilton Hotel in Reading.
Peter who lives in Oxfordshire was one of 4 people shortlisted from 74 of the UK’s top networkers and took the top spot at the glitzy event.
Peter said “I’m over the moon to have won the award for Networker of the Year, especially given the circumstances we’ve all faced over the last year. Our Networking group went from strength to strength during COVID-19, but we took a gamble in staying online when the world started to open up. Winning this award goes to prove that Networking can really work online.”
“I love the Chamber Networking events and want to express a huge thanks to those members who nominated me”
This isn’t Peter’s first time being shortlisted by The Great British Business Award. In 2020, Peter also made it to the shortlist, but this time, he’s actually going back home with the award.
