Parfitt Cresswell opened by HM Lord Lieutenant Andrew Try

The King’s representative for the Royal County of Berkshire opened the new offices of Parfitt Cresswell in Windsor at the end of April.

The event marked 15 years in Windsor and the opening of the firm’s new offices in the town was attended by Mr Andrew Try, His Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant for the Royal County of Berkshire, who spoke as guest of honour.

Upon cutting the ribbon to open the building, Mr Try referred to the King’s speech earlier that day in Washington : “His Majesty’s words earlier today should remind us how fortunate we are to have a constitutional monarchy; a physical embodiment of the British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance for those of different faiths and beliefs.”
He continued: “Here in Windsor we see those values in action, in organisations like Parfitt Cresswell that are committed to their community and to supporting the rule of law.”

Parfitt Cresswell Solicitors advise clients across residential and commercial property, private client, family law and dispute resolution. The move to larger offices at The Keep in Victoria Street, marks a further investment in the town and will allow the firm to expand its team and meet growing client demand.

Last year Parfitt Cresswell featured in the news following their exposure of systematic probate fraud. The law firm took a financial risk to pursue and expose the fraudsters and to recover money for the bereaved family. The firm is also actively involved in supporting local initiatives and institutions, including June’s much anticipated Long Walk Live (an event staged with kind permission from His Majesty The King) and the Windsor Festival, as well as Thames Hospice, the Alexandre Devine Children’s Hospice, the Windsor Rugby Club and the Windsor and Eton Football Club who were all represented at the event.

Teresa Payne, Joint Managing Partner at Parfitt Cresswell Solicitors said:

Windsor has been central to our growth over the past 15 years. This move reflects both the strength of our client relationships here and our long-term commitment to the local community.  We are very grateful to Mr Try and everyone who attended. We are honoured to have their support. Like many, we were struck by the King’s speech in Washington. At Parfitt Cresswell, we work hard to uphold those values in everything we do.

Parfitt Creswell has offices across the South-east and also trades as Charles Coleman & Co., Colemans, Copley Clark, Jevons, Riley and Pope, Keene Marsland, and Max Barford & Co.
