The highly respected publication has given Swindon-headquartered Novum Law the highest-ranking (Band 1) for its specialist personal injury expertise.
The 2021 Chambers and Partners legal guide describes Novum Law as having a “considerable presence across the South West, offering notable activity in industrial disease cases, with impressive strength in asbestos-related claims, including acting for dependants.”
The guide goes on to praise Novum Law’s expertise in “catastrophic injury claims arising from road traffic accidents (RTAs) and clinical negligence cases” and says the firm is “particularly adroit in assisting with complex neurological injuries.”
Independent sources who spoke to Chambers and Partners commended Novum Law’s specialist services saying our dedicated team “works well together” and “there is a lot of mutual support.”
Special mention was given to Swindon Director Anna Cole and her expertise advising clients who have suffered “workplace accidents resulting in catastrophic injuries.” The guide praised her work on complex injury claims with vulnerable clients.
Associate Legal Director Phillip Gower and specialist asbestos disease solicitor from Novum Law’s Cardiff office was singled out for his expertise. He is described in Chambers and Partners as “particularly recommended for claims concerning respiratory illness contracted in industrial settings. He mostly handles cases in which the patient has died or else has sustained lifelong injuries.”
The guide goes on to say that Phillip is “fantastically client-focused and diligent and is always going the extra mile. He has a good way of putting the client at ease in stressful situations.”
