Thames Valley Leadership & Management Development Forum

We are hosting a Leadership & Management Development Forum to support the next phase of the Local Skills Improvement Plans (LSIPs) for Berkshire and Oxfordshire.

This invite-only session will bring together employers, HR and learning professionals, education and training providers, and leadership development specialists to examine the leadership and management capability needed to drive productivity, engagement and progression across organisations in the Thames Valley.

The forum will explore how to strengthen leadership and management skills at all levels, support managers at different stages of their journey, and respond to the evolving challenges of leading diverse, multi-generational workforces.

Discussion will cover:

• Leadership and management skills gaps identified by employers
• Building capability from first-line managers to senior leaders
• Leading and motivating diverse, multi-generational teams
• Improving productivity, engagement and workforce progression through effective leadership
• Ensuring leadership development provision aligns with employer needs
• Practical, collaborative approaches to closing capability gaps

The session will include facilitated discussion and interactive engagement to capture employer insight, priorities and ideas for action.

Your input will directly inform the next LSIPs, helping ensure they reflect real employer needs and priorities across Berkshire and Oxfordshire.
