New chair announced for Thames Valley Health and Life Sciences Working Group

Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce (TVCC) are pleased Sue Staunton, Managing Partner and Head of Life Sciences at James Cowper Kreston as the new chair for the Thames Valley Health and Life Sciences Working Group.

Tasked with providing an informed contribution to the Life Sciences Sector Deal 2 through an invitation by Central Government, and sponsored and hosted by Green Park, the Group is the only region-wide ‘sector group’, bringing together industry leaders from global corporates, SME’s, spinouts and thought leaders and research leads from academia to ensure that the Thames Valley Health and Life Sciences community is heard and represented.

Sue Staunton, Managing Partner and Head of Life Sciences at James Cowper Kreston said: “Having been involved in working with and advising clients in the sector for much of my career I am delighted to have been asked to take on this role.

The Thames Valley is key to the UK’s world leading expertise in the sector, hosting as it does many centres of life science innovation; a number of highly regarded healthcare providers; and world-renowned academic and research institutions as well as being home to many leading pharmaceutical companies and I look forward to working with the group with the purpose to help shape the agenda for the Life Sciences sector going forward”.
