Now in their third year, the annual Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce awards have been further enhanced with an exciting new category added to the nominations list. The Contribution to the Community award, which is ideally suited to companies that have used their business as a platform to give back to their local area, will take the total number of categories members and non-members can enter to 11.
Set to take place on the 25 June at the Reading Hilton, the awards continue to recognise the ‘talent, innovation and entrepreneurship’ of companies throughout the region.
Gavin Spencer, Head of Membership commented: “Each year, hundreds of companies from across the Thames Valley enter and we are inundated with completed forms. Many of the categories are aligned with the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) and those winners will automatically be put through to the national awards.
“Our official launch at Ascot was a great success, with both past winners and those looking to gain insight on the process in attendance.”
Heathrow, who are strongly committed to the local business community, has been confirmed as the headline sponsor for the Thames Valley Business of the Year award. Considered the biggest award on the night previous winners include Westcoast and Ticketer.
Other confirmed sponsors to date include GEMS, Generate UK, GWR, James Cowper Kreston, Owen White Solicitors, SEGRO and TrueSwift.
