I would like to invite all chamber members to the inaugural GME Foundation Charity Gala, an intimate fundraising evening dedicated to supporting children living with disabilities across Africa with vital mobility aids and medical care.

The GME Foundation was born from a deeply personal experience of having, raising and eventually losing my daughter who was born with severe disabilities. After her death, I began to reflect on how fortunate we were to have access to medical care, wheelchairs, and support. That experience opened my eyes to the reality that many children across Africa do not have those same opportunities. What began as grief became a calling—to ensure that other children are given the chance to move, access care, and live with dignity.

This first gala will bring together 80–100 guests who share a commitment to compassion, impact, and meaningful change. We are keeping the evening intentionally simple and heartfelt, with a focus on real stories, tangible outcomes, and lasting partnership.
