Wendy Holden is an award-winning journalist, Royal Historical Society Fellow, and author of over 40 non-fiction books, often highlighting inspirational World War Two figures. Her bestselling works include The Teacher of Auschwitz, Born Survivors, and the memoir One Hundred Miracles. She has also penned biographies optioned for film, such as Tomorrow to Be Brave, and ghostwritten celebrity memoirs for Cher and Goldie Hawn.

A global public speaker and creative writing teacher, she published her first novel, The Sense of Paper, in 2006. She recently completed the first authorised Audrey Hepburn biography and is now writing a screenplay and another World War Two novel.
