Green Park has once again been awarded the Biodiversity Benchmark by The Wildlife Trusts, marking the eleventh consecutive year the business community has achieved this prestigious recognition.
Green Park’s commitment to landscaping and nurturing biodiversity across its 195-acre site is integral to everything it does as a business community. The park’s approach creates an exceptional environment for occupiers to thrive, while connecting people to nature, wellbeing and community.
Over more than 20 years, the parkland setting has been carefully planned and nurtured to encourage wildlife and enhance natural habitats. Green Park is particularly proud to be recognised for several recent biodiversity highlights:
- Return of reed warblers after several years’ absence, demonstrating that sensitive habitat management is delivering positive results.
- Slow-worms recorded on site for the first time during 2025 reptile surveys, marking an exciting new addition to the park’s wildlife.
- Hedgehog-friendly access holes introduced into new fencing, enabling wildlife to move freely and safely across the site.
- Bat training events hosted on site, giving occupiers the opportunity to learn from experts and engage more closely with the park’s biodiversity.
Green Park extends its thanks to its dedicated biodiversity team – Alison Cross, Kerry Elliott, Andrew Peat and Chris Donker – whose ongoing work continues to transform the park through a range of innovative and award-winning initiatives.
