Flavoursome Line-up at Cokethorpe Business Breakfast

Representatives of businesses from across Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds are readying themselves for the latest mouth-watering networking offering at the Cokethorpe Business Breakfast on Friday 7 March.

Whilst the quality of the culinary treats themselves are unparalleled, what’s really getting the taste buds tingling and tongues wagging is the prospect of hearing from two of the country’s leading entrepreneurs. Rachel Hicks is the co-founder of the award-winning Sky Wave distillery, winner of the World’s Best Gin; and the globally renowned chef, musician and founder of the much-loved Reggae Reggae range, Levi Roots. The theme of the ‘In Conversation’ piece, led by Levi and Rachel, is successful entrepreneurship and leaving a living legacy.

Commenting ahead of the networking Breakfast on 7 March, Levi said, “I am so much looking forward to speaking at the Cokethorpe event: Successful entrepreneurship and leaving a living legacy. I think it’s very important for young people and SME’s coming into business that they are inspired and mentored by those who are experience in building successful businesses and are willing to share their experiences with them.”

Rachel added, “My journalism career demanded fearlessness – a skill I never imagined would be the foundation of our award-winning Oxfordshire spirits business. I’m excited to share this unexpected journey, and the other transferable skills I’ve learned along the way, in the hope of inspiring others to pursue their own passions and build a lasting legacy.”

The triannual Cokethorpe Business Breakfasts are proving enormously popular with the business community, with Andrea Freeman, Principle of the Oxford Media and Business School, stating, “I was so impressed with the contacts, the organisation and the professionalism of the event, not to mention how good the speakers were.”
