Even more evil… Evil Empire hires new senior marketer

Full service marketing firm Evil Empire has expanded its team with the appointment of a new account marketing manager.

Jess Edwards joins the Swindon-based firm with several years’ experience working in-house for businesses across the region and a marketing degree from Cardiff Metropolitan University.

Her eye for design and her considered approach to marketing strategy have already been put to good use across Evil Empire’s diverse portfolio, says the firm.

“Before I joined Evil Empire I was already aware of the agency’s reputation and stand-out brand, and I am excited to have joined the team at a time of growth across all areas of the business,” said Jess.

“Today’s marketing landscape has shifted from where it was two years ago.

“We have seen more clients looking for a full-service agency – somewhere they can turn to for support with social media, design, copywriting, PR, strategy, video and photography.

“We’re proud of our in-house skillset that allows us to provide a one-stop service to these clients.”

Evil Empire was established seven years ago by Sara Witham who, having worked with external agencies in the past, saw a niche for a business to meet the fast-paced demands of modern marketing.

“We’re over the moon to have another ‘henchperson’ join the Evil Empire – and Jess is the perfect fit for our team,” said Sara.

“Her eye for design and level-headed approach to marketing has already added real value to our clients as we continue to grow the empire.

“The year has started at a fast pace for us, bringing new clients and fresh opportunities, so we’re delighted Jess has joined us at this exciting time.”

Evil Empire boss Sara Witham will be running a free webinar – Acing Your Awards Application – on March 31 for businesses that want to enter the 2025 Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.
