Local employers are being offered the opportunity to meet their next potential hire, grow their professional networks and connect with ambitious emerging talent at Elevate 2026, Buckinghamshire New University’s inaugural awards and networking event.
Taking place on the evening of Tuesday 23 June at BNU’s High Wycombe campus, the exclusive event will bring together businesses, students and university leaders for an evening celebrating talent and industry collaboration.
Throughout the evening, employers will have the opportunity to meet talented career-ready students seeking placement and career opportunities, network with local business leaders and university staff and explore new partnership opportunities with BNU.
The University is particularly keen to connect with employers in Law, Finance, Advertising, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Architecture, Computer Science, Computer Games Development and Psychology.
New for this year, an awards ceremony will showcase the achievements of students who worked with employers as part of BNU’s placement pilot programme, recognising those who have excelled during their placements while highlighting the transformative impact industry-based learning can have for both students and employers.
The event also marks an important step in BNU’s wider ambition to embed high-quality placements across all programmes by 2028, helping ensure graduates leave university equipped with the practical skills and experience employers are looking for.
Businesses interested in attending are encouraged to register early.
RSVP: placement.hub@bnu.ac.uk by Friday 5 June.
