Local and national employers are being invited to participate in the Destinations Expo, West Berkshire’s largest interactive careers fair.
Taking place on Thursday 10th October at Newbury College, this event will host over 1,500 students from West Berkshire, East Berkshire, and North Hampshire as they consider their future careers and ultimately make key decisions about their next steps.
A wide range of sectors, universities and further education providers will give students as many ideas as possible and it is a fantastic opportunity for employers or training providers to inspire young minds and influence them into joining their industry or organisation.
Speaking on the success of previous events and how much this event has grown, a spokesperson from Xtrac said “This event is now the start of Xtrac’s apprenticeship recruitment as we get so many positive enquiries that turn into employment. The timing of this is perfect!”
There is nothing else on this scale for these local students and the Education Business Partnership (EBP) is grateful for businesses support.
