Dr Kirstyn Norman Joins Global Movement ‘Challenge for Change’ as Ambassador

Dr Kirstyn Norman, respected health and wellness coach and former medical doctor, has been appointed an official Ambassador for Challenge for Change – a global initiative launching in September 2025 that invites people from all walks of life to collectively travel 41,000 kilometres, the distance around the Earth, in support of children’s futures.

Challenge for Change is a unique, inclusive campaign that encourages individuals, families, schools, and organisations to walk, cycle, swim, or simply count steps toward a shared distance goal, all while raising funds for children’s charities chosen by participants. The initiative aims to raise £100,000 for local and global causes benefiting young people.

“As someone deeply passionate about sustainable, community-driven wellbeing, I’m honoured to represent a movement that beautifully combines movement, fundraising, and fun,” said Dr Norman. “This isn’t about extremes – it’s about collective action and showing how every kilometre, every step, really does count.”

In her new role, Dr Norman will:

  • Mobilise local groups – including schools, businesses, and fitness communities – to join the 41,000 km challenge.

  • Support participants in setting personalised activity goals and selecting meaningful children’s charities.

  • Leverage her regional networks and Chamber of Commerce connections to spread awareness and boost engagement.

Dr Norman’s appointment is set to bring local energy and expertise to the global campaign, creating real impact at a grassroots level.

How to Get Involved

Participants are encouraged to:

  • Set a distance goal for their team or organisation;

  • Launch a JustGiving page to fundraise for a charity of their choice;

  • Partner with the campaign to drive engagement and impact in their community.

“For anyone looking to make a difference in a meaningful and active way – now is the time. Let’s come together and make every kilometre count for children’s futures,” added Dr Norman.
