Workplace law firm, Doyle Clayton, has announced the appointment of Benedicte Perowne to head up its regulatory team. Most recently she was a partner with Osborne Clarke.
Bringing almost twenty years’ experience with her, Benedicte specialises in advising firms and individuals on their most thorny regulatory and investigation issues. She is known for translating complex regulatory matters into practical board room outcomes.
Regular instructions include governance arrangements; regulatory reporting; rule interpretation; enforcement actions; whistleblowing; individual accountability and systems and controls. She also helps clients navigate other related areas including AML and compliance and has significant experience of horizon scanning regulatory developments and proposals for clients as well as understanding and advising on the litigation risk presented by a specific set of circumstances.
Benedicte has significant experience in running investigations for clients and advising clients following the conclusion of investigations. At Doyle Clayton, Benedicte will support clients in all areas of regulatory engagement, with a focus on individual misconduct, particularly concerning allegations of ‘non-financial misconduct’, including bullying, harassment and discrimination. She will be based in both the firm’s London and Reading offices.
