Cyber security specialist CyberCX launches in the UK

Cyber security specialist CyberCX launches in the UK and US and adds former NSA director Admiral (Ret) Michael Rogers as a lead member of the CyberCX Global Cyber Security Advisory Board.

CyberCX, a large scale specialist cyber security services firm, launched its UK and US operations today, following the recent acquisition of specialist UK cyber firm, CQR.

With 17 integrated independent cyber security companies across the Five Eyes nations, the Australian headquartered firm has over 600 cyber security professionals and has plans to significantly grow its skilled workforce in the UK and US, delivering end-to-end cyber security services.

CyberCX has also announced the establishment of a Global Cyber Security Advisory Board, headed up by Admiral (ret.) Michael Rogers, former director of the US National Security Agency and Head of Cyber Command. Rogers will provide his expert advice to CyberCX’s technology and service offerings, including supporting the group’s UK and US expansion. He will also provide strategic advice and thought leadership to CyberCX and their customers.

Rogers said, “What CyberCX has achieved in the last year is extraordinary. CyberCX’s UK and US operations will be headed up by Greg Inge, who is charged with a growth agenda to deliver service offerings such as strategy and consulting, security testing and assurance, digital forensics and incident response and managed security services, including a new Security Operations Centres in the UK

Inge said, “CyberCX will have a significant impact on the UK’s cyber security landscape. We have plans to increase our workforce in the UK and US to more than 100 employees in the next 18 months. We see incredible opportunity to support and protect the UK’s most critical public and private sector organisations. The company is headed by Group CEO, John Paitaridis, and Chief Strategy Officer, Alastair MacGibbon, former head of the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC).
