Nexus Business Centre has announced that it will proudly support Ipsum, the Swindon-based mental health and wellbeing charity, as its Charity of the Year for 2026. The partnership will see the Nexus team, caféNexus customers, and more than 50 business centre clients join forces to raise funds through a packed calendar of events and initiatives throughout the year.
Fundraising activities will include raffles, bake-offs, car boot sales, car washing events, and a variety of community focused activities designed to bring people together while raising vital funds for Ipsum’s work.
Art Exhibition Launching February 2026
The year long initiative will begin with the launch of the Ipsum Art Display at Nexus Business Centre in February 2026.
Ipsum clients, ranging across all ages and abilities, will contribute more than 100 pieces of original artwork, forming a vibrant and inspiring exhibition trail.
Initially showcased on the first floor of the business centre, the exhibition is expected to expand across all four floors as more artwork is added. The display will be open to the public Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm, and will also be enjoyed by centre businesses and caféNexus customers.
All artwork will be available for purchase via the Ipsum website, with 100% of proceeds going directly to the charity to support its essential mental health and wellbeing services.
Official Opening Event
The exhibition will be formally opened on Tuesday 10 February 2026 at 2.00pm by:
• The Mayor of Swindon, Councillor Fay Howard
• Julie Mattinson, Director of Ipsum
• Kerry Marsh, Project Manager at Ipsum
• Christine Razey, Operations Director, Nexus Business Centre
Nexus Business Centre looks forward to welcoming guests, clients, and members of the community to celebrate the launch and support the charity’s mission.
