Swindon Chamber of Commerce, Senior Account Manager Tim Major has been shortlisted for The Networker of The Year Award at this year’s South-West Awards Business and Community.
This award is for ‘a serious networker who constantly connects people to the right business, successfully referring people in business for mutual benefits.’ Winners will be announced at the beginning of December at The DoubleTree by Hilton Swindon at an event that will celebrate the success of businesses from across the South-West region.
Commenting on the news he has been shortlisted Tim said “I am delighted to be shortlisted for this Award – working in such a vibrant and friendly business community that is Swindon means I get to meet a vast variety of people from different sectors.
Being part of the Thames Valley Chamber Group and the accredited Chamber of Commerce in Swindon means the views of businesses community are also amplified on a regional and global scale, making the Chamber network a powerful one and networking is key to that.”
