Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce are delighted to announce that Scannappeal are their ‘Charity of the Year’ for 2026.
Scannappeal, which came out top in a vote by employees of the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce, raises funds to purchase life-saving equipment for Amersham, Stoke Mandeville, Wycombe and Community Hospitals which serve people living in Buckinghamshire and neighbouring parts of Berkshire and Oxfordshire.
Paul Britton, CEO at Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce said:
We are delighted to be supporting Scannappeal this year and hope to be able to further raise awareness of such a worthy charity. It was great to see the response from colleagues taking part in the voting, which is now an established annual activity which also helps raise the awareness of the incredible work our member charities do across the Thames Valley community.
The whole Chamber team had a rewarding year supporting Daisy’s Dream last year, through a variety of fundraising activities including the Reading Half Marathon, and we are all looking forward to supporting Scannappeal to raise some much-needed funds.
Nigel Naylor-Smith, Head of Corporate Partnerships, Scannappeal said:
We are thrilled to have been chosen to be Charity of the Year for Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce. Having more opportunities to talk to people and get our message on supporting healthcare for our local communities heard is a big part of how charities like Scannappeal, fulfil their goals, and we are so grateful for this opportunity.
Our team are looking forward to an exciting year working with the Chamber, supporting our charity by helping raise awareness.
