Carless + Adams has welcomed four new recruits providing a solid start to 2026.
Conrad Quast, Niccolo Manco, Neumann Joseph and Callum Green have joined the privately owned architecture business with a wealth of knowledge designing for the care industry, and offer both architectural and technical expertise.
There are more than 10 million people currently aged 65 and over in England which equates to 18% of the population and this is expected to rise by as much as 20% by 2045 (ref: Age UK and ONS). The fastest growing bracket of this is the over 85s who often have more complex needs.
Many of their older adults live in inadequate housing and are often isolated, which leads to many negative health and wellbeing issues as housing provision has been slow to align with demand. Carless + Adams believes that architecture has the power to change this. Through thoughtful, human-centred design, the business is dedicated to creating places that nurture independence, dignity, and connection.
George Morris, Director + Architect Technician at Carless + Adams said
Our expanding team illustrates exciting times as the focus on creating viable environments for older people is increasing from local authorities and, indirectly, the Government. This commitment to the future provision of care in this country is extremely positive.
