The Britwell Youth & Community Project in Slough is seeking a new Chair-designate and a new trustee for its board. Britwell is an independent charity, working closely with Berkshire Youth.
Britwell has an 60 + year history of supporting the young people living on the Britwell Estate in Slough. It provides training, activities and new challenges to help young people make a successful transition to adulthood.
These are key appointments and the successful candidates will have a strong commitment to the future of young people and an understanding of why youth work is important. Similarly, a good understanding of the local political and funding environment and the ability to leverage a strong business and professional network are important.
