Nottingham translation company AST Language Services have opened a new office in Oxford.
The new sales office is a base for supporting AST’s existing clients in the southern half of the UK with professional translation services, and will provide a geographical focus for further business development in the Thames Valley region.
AST specialises in larger multilingual projects such as international websites, training programmes and product launches. Translations are carried out by carefully selected and vetted native-speakers only, followed by proofreading by a second native-speaker. This process ensures absolute precision, accuracy and, where appropriate, cross-cultural understanding and nuance.
Founded in the late 1990s, AST have built a loyal client base of Midlands SME exporters and large UK international companies. During the pandemic the company decided to extend their footprint into the Thames Valley to capitalise on the high concentration of internationally oriented companies there, and the Oxford sales office opened in early 2021. The team’s consistency and attention to detail have won loyalty from many long-standing clients, and it is hoped there will be many more of these in the Thames Valley in future with the addition of the new sales office.
