Today, four winners of the Thames Valley Chamber Business Awards, which took in place in June, have taken one step closer to gaining national recognition, winning the British Chambers of Commerce South region award.

Launched for the first time in 2018 at the Hilton, Reading the Thames Valley Chamber Business Awards recognised the key role that local businesses play in driving the economy, providing a unique opportunity for companies to achieve national accolades as part of the wider accredited UK Chamber network.

Each of the four winners will now go forward to the national finals:

“As the UK’s true turbo economy, we are continually championing and promoting the work our local businesses carry out, that deliver real change.

“Each company was a proud winner at our own regional awards recently, showcasing their high level of work, determination and commitment to offering outstanding services to the wider business community, and is now being celebrated at a national level against major organisations from the across the UK.

“On behalf of the entire Thames Valley Chamber network we’d like to wish all four companies every success in the next round.”

Francis Martin, President of the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) said:

“Businesses are the engines of the UK economy – creating opportunities and prosperity in our towns, cities and counties. Even in these turbulent times, they continue to show their adaptability, resilience and strength.

“Every year our judges are impressed by the calibre of entries, and this year was no different. All our finalists should be proud to reach this stage given the stiff competition among our diverse and enterprising pool of applicants.

“The Chamber Business Awards are the perfect opportunity for us to celebrate our business communities’ achievements, to take stock of the great performances of UK businesses over the past year, and to encourage and inspire others to follow in their footsteps.”
