What is a Saudi Visa letter?
On the 29th March 2016 the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia introduced a new requirement that all applications for Commercial, Working and Business visas must now be accompanied by a letter, on original company letter headed paper, which must be authenticated by your local Chamber of Commerce.
Why is it needed?
An Introduction Letter serves as a confirmation to the Saudi authorities that any costs relating to the applicant’s visit will be covered by their company and that the applicant will abide by the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
What criteria must be met?
- Applicant must be a full-time employee of the (UK) Company.
- Applicant must be resident in the United Kingdom.
- Introduction letter must be produced on company letterhead and signed in blue ink.
