ECC bring Christmas cheer for Timeshare compensation couple

ECC has brought a smile to the faces of a Monmouth couple who never thought they would be free of their timeshare or see the money they lost to a scam company who promised to cancel their contract.

Whilst John and Roni Richardson were on holiday at the “Palm Oasis” resort in Gran Canaria back in 1995, they found themselves in a lengthy sales presentation where they ended up buying a week of timeshare.  What started out as a compulsive buy into luxury holidays turned into an expensive trap some years later.

The Richardsons’ soon realised that they had no control over the increases in annual maintenance fees which were escalating massively each year, and they were also worried about the prospect of leaving the timeshare as an inheritance to their children which may have been more of a financial burden to them than an asset.  So, they did what most timeshare owners do at some point, and they looked for a company to assist in exiting their contract.
